of charge. Also includes information concerning workplace/career
issues and life as an adjunct and a link to Adjunct Advocate Magazine.
American Federation of Teachers Part-time Faculty Web Site: AFT is
an organizer of part-time faculty in the United States, representing almost
45,000 part-time faculty. The AFT is committed to promoting solidarity
among all faculty and staff as a crucial part of improving conditions for
part-time faculty.

More than 200 articles are listed, most with brief annotations. Material
chosen for the bibliography began publication in 1977, at the time
when use of adjunct faculty increased dramatically. The purpose of

implications of the shift in the structure of higher education brought
